Lately I have been consuming dark chocolate, it is not my favorite but has less carbs(sugars) than milk chocolate. I buy mine at the locak CVS pharmacy. Its called Lindt and its 85% cocoa. Dark chocolate makes me hott! in more ways than one. I guess ther is sumptin' wrong wiff me

^Nope, it's a well-known fact that dark chocolate has the same effect on the brain as sex. Why do you think women like it so much? ;) :diacanu:

I have odd tastes in Candy, since I lived in Korea and Germany when I was young and developed a taste for foreign sweets...(American sweets are too sweet, IMO...)

    Like [WIKI]Botan Rice Candy[/WIKI].

    I like marzipan.

I like Wine Gums, (yes, I like Wine Gums) Jelly Babies, Cola Gummies, and German Haribo Gold (gummy) Bears (the ones made by Haribo of America are NOT the same - especially the green ones, which are my fave!!!) Haribo Gummy Frogs (again, the German ones are better) Red Dollars, Red Swedish Fish, and Haribo Gummy Raspberries, and Jelly Belly Jelly Beans and also Turkish Delights

I also like Red Licorice, in any form. The Haribo Red Licorice Wheels, and even the Panda Raspberry and Black Licorice that you get at health food stores!

And sometimes lately my kids and I get these Red Raspberry gummies made by an American company that are good - not like the Haribo ones, in that these are not candy coated jellies, but just red gummies shaped like berries, but they have a slightly tart taste - I'm sure I had them as a kid before. (I'll have to look on a bag next time to see who makes them.)

I like the Prickly Pear Cactus Candy from the Southwest.

When I eat chocolate, it's almost always imported. I prefer milk or white, I like German Kinder Chocolate (Kinder Eggs are *awesome*!) Milka, Suchard, Lindt (the Lindor Truffles are yunny!) and I love Droste - especialy the Pastilles and the Milk Chocolate Apple!!! *drool*

Tolblerones and Ritter Sports are good too! If it's American, I go with Dove or Ghirardelli. Never Hersheys. Although Nestle used to make thsi plain milk choclate bar back in the 80's I love, in a red-ish wrapper, but not anymore. :(

    Cadbury
from the UK is good too. (again, it's not the same as we get in the US.)

Also, I'lll choose Smarties over M&M's any day. Or Mamba over a Starburst.

Aero bars from the UK are yummy! (It's the bubbles!) and I still like the occasional US Chunky.

When I was a kid in Germany I used to like these thinks that were a little plastic shell with some red hard candy inside. You sucked on the shell. (NEVER be allowed in the US - major choking hazzard!!!) I miss them, the taste kinda like Red Sour Tic Tac Bold!'s taste...

I haven't been eating much candy as of late . . . maybe that's why my pants are feeling looser.

But I do like peanut butter cups (especially homemade ones), Canada mints (the pink 'lozenges' that taste like Pepto Bismol), Nerds, and orange-flavored dark chocolate.

I don't eat much candy, but I love smooth and melty mints, either homemade or factory made (there are various manufacturers).
