Wired has a nice shiny widget to let you know who donated the most to your political candidates. I'm actually kind of surprised at how low the top-ten donators were for most of the people who ran on my ballot. Interesting how much UVA donated to Kaine in VA though...

Meh, it's kind of interesting, but since it doesn't include the millions and millions donated towards PACs, it doesn't really paint as clear a picture as possible.

I wish the list included more than just people that run for federal office. It would be nice to have an app like this for Governor, State Legislature, City Council and County Commission. Still a cool app thought.

Also, it appears to bundle donations by employer. My Senator, for example, has a top ten donation ostensibly from the federal government. This obviously can't be true, but it's easy enough to believe that federal employees made donations.
