In light of this recent revelation by Elwood....

Also, our probe discovered a leak in The Shelter. Someone that betrayed my trust. I'm sure you can understand that I can't just come out and post the PM, but this person has been sidelined and removed from a position of influence. Any disciplinary action will occur after this has calmed down and cooler heads have prevailed.

I know some people think a mod should be a forum leader, I don't. Everyone here is a member, mods are just members who are kind enough to sort threads and occasionally remind people of a forum's rules. The best mods are the ones you don't even realize are mods. -- #42

I don't get the obsession with wanting to be a mod. Sure there must be some pride in being trusted enough to get the offer, and the mods do a useful job, but actively wanting the power to edit peoples posts and move threads for no other reason than to simply have that power just seems strange. -- Bailey, #96 (currently a member of Eliteforge)

As far as I'm aware, there are no paying jobs for "Forum Administrator" on privately owned forums.
