I've seen that when the nested quote gets huge, but it doesn't seem that large yet in your post.

Clear your cache and see what happens.

I remember one time I had thelurker's av and I think Kyle's signature.

You can also hit ctrl-refresh, which will reload the page from scratch instead of potentially reusing data from cache.

CTRL-F5 and clearing cache did not work.

Has never happened to me (in Odelay; perhaps there's a difference?).

Try lowering the number of posts to show per page.

I've been having the problem ever since the board was uploaded. I still loathe having to set my browser to forty posts instead of fifty, but there you go.
