I don't need it to be manly, but I might be more tolerant of it if it was less feminine. It's like the Smart Car of the mobile technology world.
I'm getting the distinct impression SOE's protesting this thing way too much. Has anyone ever seen him and Volpone in the same place at the same time?
I won’t believe that one until they confirm whether it has any vibrate features. But you can use your profit from the Tiffany trade to buy stuff like very pricey e-toys. I’ll agree that Civ can be hugely addictive but I would certainly not call it a role-playing game. The author is plainly nuts.
Last two disqualified on the basis of Photochop. First disqualified on the basis of expired logo. Pretty sure there are a bunch of expired logos that could be given distasteful connotations.
I thought long and hard about getting one of these, but in the end, it had too many limitations. Flash was definitely a consideration. If I'm going to show a client a site I built him or her - one that they requested I use Flash on, I need to make sure the Flash parts are actually viewable. Plus, you can play free arcade games at the Wordforge Arcade, but if you're on an iPad, well then tough luck. But Apple would never allow this, as they want you to buy Angry Birds and the rest of their shitty games for $1 at the Apple store. Second consideration was MAME. I MUST have MAME on all my computers. If I don't have an internet connection, I waste my time fucking off on MAME. The sheer amount of warez'd and free shit I know about on the PC side is just staggering, and makes my computer, and hence, me, supreme. Third, I don't like that there is not really a great quick and easy way to transfer files back and fourth from other computers, and it does not include USB support. I have a lot of USB sticks, and they become useless if I have an iPad. I've not bought an iPad, but my cousin did, then returned it to just get a netbook. The iPad is the best tablet out there, and no other tablet even comes close right now in terms of ease of use and superior design and hardware. But the limitations they place on it severely hamper the way I use a computer, and for that, I'm gonna wait for the other tablet makers to catch up. My next computer purchase will probably be a netbook.
