Why is Claire so god damned annoying? Heroes spoilers

All in all, a much better episode than last week, but Claire has still got to go. Hayden can't play badass. She simply doesn't have the range. However, there was promise in papa Petrelli taking Peter's powers. A normal Peter who doesn't have every ability on the planet (and conveniently forgets to use them when the plot warrants it) might be worth salvaging as a character. Now if only Arthur would give his grandbaby Claire and great big old hug she might be tolerable as well.

Is there some reason that Nathan continues to get nothing proactive to do? Pasdar is so wasted on this show. Supposedly he'll have more storyline later. That's what TIIC always say, but we get more of loser Peter.

I'm just glad Matt brought the turtle with him.

Matt was cute. Cuter than Peter anyway. Not that it's difficult to be cuter than Peter.

I thought the best of this episode was the Hiro thread...

Hiro should probably be dead - you don't get concussed by a shovel twice without serious medical consequences.

Claire continue to show that her power is utterly useless in a fight, except to survive one. But tactically it turned out useful as a feint this time.

I hate to bag on that actress, 'cuz she really does seem to be trying, but I still think Claire is better seen and not heard.

Hiro should at least be in the hospital getting his skull put back together.

Taking away Peter's powers removes the only interesting thing about the character. Only found him entertaining when he cut loose with the superpowers. Maybe daddy will make better use of them.

Very satisfying to see Adam killed.

I thought that was a bad move. Kill off the one interesting actor who can actually... act.

Are you kidding? That dude made me grind my teeth every time he spoke.

Hiro can always go back in time a little and bring Adam forward to a point after his death, if the plot needs him to.

Looks like! That whole hiding behind the rock trick should have created a double of himself.

Why? I think it worked out exactly like it was supposed to.

Hiro wakes up from getting knocked out and decides to pop back one minute and hide behind the rock.

Hiro pops back in time one minute and hides behind the rock. He sees his orginal self still in the hovel. Now there are two of him. He sees his original self get knocked out, then the him behind the rock gets knocked out.

The one in the hovel wakes up and decides to pop back behind the rock.
The one behind the rock wakes up and walks over to Ando just as Hiro # 1 decides to pop back in time.... The one from the hovel should appear behind the rock again. Now there are two of them again.

Hiro number one decides to give it up. But there's still another Hiro behind the rock getting klonked on the head ...

I can't see a way that he didn't duplicate himself there. The writers just ignored it.

After Hiro gets hit on the head a second time and walks in, the Hiro who was in the hut went back in time, and will become Hiro#2. he doesn't double himself and reappear behind the rock, because he's already appeared, gotten knocked out, and woken up.

Footnote: I want to see Peter & Sylar, with full use of their powers, raining destruction on a large band of villains by the end of the year.

They really have to figure what Nathan's all about. He hasn't really had much to do since he decided that he was going to abort the destruction of NY even if it meant avoiding a foretold golden age.

"High five, turtle" was the best part of the episode for me. Even though I think Parkman came off as a little stalkerish and unbelievable when first interacting with Daphne.

Eh. Not super impressed. Half of me wished Hiro were bold enough to kill Ando. It seemed like Feeding-on-fear-guy should have been able to see through the deception. And Daphne doesn't really know enough about Hiro to have been so shocked at the "death." Shouldn't super-speed make it so that she saw through it, anyway?

I'm wondering if he can come back from being dusted. I mean, others came back from being at the center of nuclear explosion.

You and just about every fan. Trouble is, I think that the powers that be are sticking to the idea that the show is about character rather than super powers. Plus there's the issue of special effects budget. So I tend to doubt that there will be a scene of pure ass-kicking even though that's what we all want.

Meh. I can't be arsed to overthing all the "yeah buts"

It entertains me...what else do I need?

They're saving all that stuff for the 2.5 hour series finale movie in theatres everywhere, after the show loses all appeal.

Where are the pictures of Claire? Lord knows she can't act and her IRL personality is enough to drive a normal person crazy. She can at least look nice for us.
