Ted isn't here because Ted is working on his life...you know getting one, enjoying the air and looking into all sorts of possibilities for the future. I'm glad he isn't here reading this bullshit and is out there making some changes.

And yes, Ted has said and done some awful and creepy things...however he has never said anything remotely like that crotch comment, ever. It sounds nothing like him or his online "voice", if you know what I mean. I do believe he may have said something that Jenna didn't like, but I don't think it was that exact comment...I think she was looking for shock value and got it.

I do. He has raised my hackles on more than one occasion.

If Ted is halfway smart he'll stay the hell away from this thread. Any comment he make would probably just make him look worse.

He does have some serious issues to deal with, and it's taken him a while to get off his ass and start making changes but I believe he is taking steps now.

I've spoken with a few times in chat and he seems sincere enough about his fuckups... but who the hell knows? For all I know everyone here really is a Soma dual!

Well, I'm glad he's doing something about his life, I really am, and my respect for Ted's gone up a bit from reading Tamar's last post.

I don't have a problem with Ted. I think he went too far with some comments. Most of us have at one time or another. But I don't think he's any threat to anybody.

That's true enough, but the majority of us know there are some lines that shouldn't be crossed. Involving other posters' children in online fights is one of them (and the reason Black Dove got drummed outta town, even though many on the board were sick of seeing Mewa's Firefly trolling). Slinging mud about someone's health or death is sure to knock you down a few pegs. Face is still living down the Nibbles incident, and that was nearly two years ago.

But that being said, if someone takes steps to improve themselves, I will be glad to support them and stop dredging up the past. In Ted's case, the changes he's making is improving his RL, so all the more power to him

I don't know. Ted just seems creepy, sometimes. Not so much that I wouldn't talk to him, but I don't know if I'd want him dating my sister, if you know what I mean.
