    I was browsing the archives and saw that the original poster made a mistake. I would like to avoid making a similar mistake in the future, but can't put my finger on the error.

    Looks like a moderator's judgment call. You shouldn't worry too much about your threads being closed in the Red Room. However, threads in the Help Desk are closed once the question has been answered or the issue has been resolved.

    If you are complaining that the Red Room thread shouldn't have been closed please say so and we'll go from there.
