Our house has a wireless terminal that keeps cutting off and needing to be manually reset every few minutes it seems. It's quite aggrivating.

Any ideas or knowledge about what might be wrong?

    Could be:

A: You are near the maximum range.

B: There is some source of interference.

In case of A: Move closer or buy hardware with better range (or buy new antenna)

In case of B: Make sure you do not have a 2.4GHz cordless phone or base station near the device. If you do, try changing the channel of the phone (if possible) manually to a channel different channel than your router, rather than using automatic selection. Or, buy a 5.8GHz cordless phone. If it is not a phone, it could be some other device.

Also, if you frequently get disconnects and you can't resolve the range issue, try using a static IP on your router rather than dynamic... that way you won't have to wait for a new address to be assigned every time. Might save you from resets quite often.
