Last week I tripped over a sidewalk crack. I skimmed my knee. and my elbow, But the real damage was to my thumb. This morning I’m going in for surgery to reattach a torn ligament. Bummer. I'll take a clean break over any tendon or ligament injury any time. After you got hurt I bet you screamed "we can put a man on the moon but we can't fix a fucking sidewalk?" Side note did they give you morphine? I get it every chance I can when I get injured. I think they give it to me just to shut me up - mission accomplished! How long do they think it will take to heal up?
Words to that effect…no morphine. Post op pain is manageable. Got some hydrocodone, but only using it before bed. I go back on June 7 to get stitches out and a new cast that should last about 3 weeks then a month of rehab.
