I got the impression from your posts/views on sex that you'd been sowing your wild oats a bit before settling down. A seventeen-year relationship is nothing to sneeze at these days, no matter how it started, so

While your one night stand to marriage is a nice story it's far from the most likely outcome.

Anyways, this week I met two new guys who are nicer and better looking than this past guy, and both are totally down with not rushing things. I'm okay with that result.

Well sure, that's what they say NOW. Wait two dates and see what happens.

Actually, I have no problem saying that whatever relationship I get involved in, there had better be sex. Long term, short term, marriage, one night stand. I've waited, and I've been patient, and I've found that no one else is waiting or being patient and I'm missing out on some great life experiences.
