    Welcome to Women of Crime Drama

    I wanted to post something about my favorite actresses
    on my favorite TV shows.

    So I did this.

    I assigned a value to each crime related drama,
    and value to the role played by each actress.

    I came up with a list of the Top 80 actresses.


    I created a web-site for the list.
    This also includes a list of the 37 TV shows I considered,
    and a list of the occupations portrayed by the actresses.

    Four of the actresses have a connection to Star Trek,
    and three appeared on Battlestar Galactica.

    On The Wire, Detective Kima Greggs, was played by Sonja Sohn.

    Sonja Sohn now plays Detective Samantha Baker on Body of Proof.

    Kinda, sorta. I'd say courtroom drama as opposed to crime drama though. Still, one of the best dramas on TV at this time.

    Yeah, but doesn't courtroom drama pretty much piggyback on crime drama?
    I mean, what else are they at court for?

    I really don't watch it much but what have seen would have classified it as a character/romance drama.....there wasn't much courtroom or crime in it. Well. Bedroom crimes maybe lol but it seemed to be more around drama in the workplace and home.
