Okay, Gateworld just advertised this calendar (by the guy who plays Jackson on SG-1) that features sexy sci-fi actresses and now went down in price. So, I headed over to their website. Here's their line-up:
The 2007 Women of Sci-Fi Calendar and DVD promoted on this website boast seven of the most glamorous women of sci-fi. They are:
    * Brandy Ledford, the knock-out blonde who plays Doyle on Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda. Click here to read Brandy Ledford’s bio
*Lexa Doig, the eye-catching actress who plays Dr. Carolyn Lam in Stargate SG-1. Click here to read Lexa Doig’s bio.
    * Erica Durance, the voluptuous temptress who stars as Lois Lane in Smallville. Click here to read Erica Durance’s bio.
    * Laura Bertram, the young damsel who stars as Trance Gemini in the captivating sci-fi series Andromeda. Click here to read Laura Bertram’s bio.
    * Rachel Luttrell, the exotic superstar who is best known for her role as Teyla Emmagan in Stargate Atlantis. Click here to read Rachel Luttrell’s bio.
    * Ona Grauer, a global goddess who is most revered for her role as the Ancient Ayiana in Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Click here to read Ona Grauer’s bio.
    * Teryl Rothery, a vivacious beauty who has starred as Dr. Janet Fraiser, a Medical Officer on Stargate SG-1.F Click here to read Teryl Rothery’s bio.

Okay, Luttrell and Durance I can support because they're both hot and still "famous". Lexa Doig - meh, she's his wife so that's a bit of an excuse and she isn't all that ugly either. Ledford? Yeah, she made that season 2 SG-A a lot better but in a calendar with the hottest?

Are you kidding me? I'm sure I can come up with something better. Let's see...
    January:
    Tricia Helfer (nuBSG)
    February:
    Grace Park (nuBSG)
    March:
    Lucy Lawless (nuBSG)
    April:
    Kristin Kreuk (Smallville)
    May:
    Erica Durance (Smallville)
    June:
    Erica Cerra (Eureka, nuBSG)
    July:
    Rachel Luttrell (SG: Atlantis)
    August:
Hayden Panettiere (Heroes - :finger: she'll be 18 soon enough)
    September:
    Ali Larter (Heroes)
    October:
    Morena Baccarin (Firefly, SG-1)
    November:
Lexa Doig (Andromeda, SG-1 and really only because she's his wife)

Which leaves us with December and ,really, December should be the best month so you put all the ladies on there together.

    There. Far better calendar. :soholy:

I haven't seen Lucy Lawless since she was Xena :marathon:

I'm not sure whether it's the lack of hot women or the shortage of current sci-fi that's the problem here.

Besides do they all have to be in current series or something? If not then this is a ridiculously short-sighted - and shite - list.

Personally I'm going with the implication that "current" equals "she is still young enough to look hot". Not much of a point to get all worked up over some chick that played in a sci-fi show ten years ago. Jolene Blalock might've been worth a second thought though...

I always liked Trance from Andromeda.

Helfer only looks real good in the right light. Some pics of her are droolworthy, some are not so much.

Grace Park would have been awesome, though.

    Definately Jolene as well.

Some of those actresses you listed, they might have had to pay too much to get to do the calendar? Not sure.

Looking at the website, I don't think I'd have qualms about hitting any one of those babes with phasers on full.

No matter the year, every December should be a photo of Jewel Staite.

And where the hell is Claudia Black? Her performance as Cher should in her a spot on it's own.

As I understand it, the women in the calendar are all friends of Christopher Judge and Michael Shanks, as all of their shows film in the same general area of Canada. They don't have Tricia Heifer or Lucy Lawless because its a project done with and by friends.

    That being said,
