What sort of world is it where a man can't go through an airport in a velvet coat, top hat, and gloves? I have half a mind to purchase a top hat and attempt that myself.

So it had nothing to do with his attire.

Gotta wonder if he was trying to generate publicity for a book on the other seven or eight visits.

Hmmm, if he was given a conditional discharge 25 years ago, then the conviction would now be 'spent', which means that it no longer has to be disclosed when applying for a job, or anything like that. But that's just within the UK, I'm fairly sure the visa waiver form asks about spent convictions...

Yeah, this is all about the publicity - a few of his other claims have been debunked in reports I've read about this over here...

Course you would never really hear about all the people who wouldn't even attempt to try something with the way security is these days.

This kind of horseshit just makes me weep for the country this used to be.

I wonder if the 19 hijackers have any idea how big they won. :(

Darlin', US customs has brought up my juvenile record in detail while trying to cross. The Canadian courts can't even reference that stuff!

Well, U.S. customs is staffed and run, and its policies are set at the highest levels, by people unable to get more respectable jobs like pimp and drug dealer.

We don't follow your stupid laws. That's why we rebelled. Duh.
