For the most part I would agree with you. However its generally required for a successful troll for the target(s) to blow a gasket. It's not happening here. If anything his targets are replying with muted disdain. In other words they aint giving back to him the same he gave out.

That was never true! He was merely "memorializing" people who ran away or who were run off. It was almost never his doing and he never claimed to have done it. He just was mocking them for tucking tail. That is just one of those lies repeated so often people begin to believe it.
He did the same thing back in '08, the last time someone started a rep war against him. Back then his argument was "I own them, because they spend time negging me." The irony was lost on him then, as it is now.
