I don't know about outlasting trekbbs. I think the people around here die off and stop paying the bills before trekbbs loses their OG message board. TrekBBS does seem to be a big gathering spot for the never dying trek community. That community does have reverence for old geeky communications like message board. WF isn't getting a lot of new inhabitants from them, and you are losing your OGs to health issues.

Yes, I am sure people will hold on, but without some sort of wave of new membership that is the new lower decks of WF this place is eventually going to fall out of orbit and burn up with the TK penal colony. Just from momentum I figure TrekBBS outlasts WF.

I would make a bet at Quarks on it, but I am pretty sure I will be a creature of pure energy by that point.

Oh, and why would any new kids come over here when they can have their own boards? All we would do is make fun of them and shit on them as the old guys.
