King Dayton Kitchens has a nice ring to it. Of course I would prefer to be President, but I am already nine years and three months behind in my plans for that. Because people wrongly think I am unpleasant and below average intelligence, it looks like it might be a big inconvenience to force them to agree with me so that they will vote me in for more than one term. This would get around that.
Well, Dayton wouldn't bother with the whole "a King never beats his Lady" B.S., like Joffrey. But I doubt he'd shoot whores with a crossbow, so that's a trade-off. If King Dayton ever met up with a strong woman like Danerys, he'd probably piss himself. But King's Landing has a half-million people there, right? Dayton's never lived anywhere bigger than a couple thousand. I think he'd be better suited as a Village Idiot in some small hamlet.
Well, King Joffrey... . is sadistic . abuses women . starts unnecessary wars . is an illegitimate ruler . has a bizarre sense of romance . likes history in his owned biased recollection of it . is probably homosexual . rules arbitrarily and without reason all of which is about par with how Dayton would rule, except Joffrey has the sense not to go against his Lannister handlers that finance him and keep him in power. I'm guessing Dayton would fail at that.
True. But Duke and Abacab are monumental. Wind and Wuthering is also excellent, I'm listening to Afterglow as we speak.
