I suppose if you're half-way up the Matterhorn singing 'Edelweiss', denim or wool when it's sunny makes sense.
But those of us a bit nearer sea level would pass out from heat stroke taking that advice...

I wear jeans comfortably in almost any temperature. My dad could go a step further, wearing a sweatshirt along with the jeans. I lack that level of temperature imperviousness, though.

I've always been able to wear jeans in the sun. Climate has to be desert like or tropical to get me into shorts.

Talking of temperature, the sun was blazing yesterday and baking hot, Today it was freezing as I came to work :(

92 degrees here yesterday - and we still have 6 weeks before summer begins!

    Fifty-Six here, and I didn't wear a coat. It's practically a heat wave!

Not really, because a month ago we had record cold that wiped out crops and gardens. The temperature extremes are getting more severe, though.

Same here. 20 degree overnight temps killed all my peaches & plums. :(

Sod that. If I'm going to be covered up it'll be in linen. I am not wearing denim in summer.

Legs are the last thing to tan. Shorts too keep cool and long sleeves to protect your arms.

Well, cotton in my case. I'm one of those people, if I wear linen, within 15 minutes, I look as if I've slept in it for a month... :diacanu:
