So, there's several things I've been trying to sell on amazon. Nothing huge, just a couple of books for some extra cash. Well, the first one that "sold" sold within 4 hours of putting it up. i got an email confirmation telling me to ship it. So I get to a computer to print out the packing slip and the order is gone....it doesn't even have it in my inventory and all my ratings are whipped clean. And there was no way to alert the person who bought it because it doesn't give any of that information in the email. So I was screwed.

I emailed amazon to be like, hey..something's up.

A couple of days later I got another email saying another book sold. Yay! I went online from my phone to check and see if they really did fix it. They did. My ratings were back, inventory back, and the old order was there as well. yay! But I couldnt get to any of their information to go ahead and email them. I was gonna email the previous buyer to apologize for the delay. But I couldn't. I figure, no big deal, it's fixed so I'll just go online and get it and email them then.

So just now I went back on my account...and everything is gone again.... O.o
WTF...I'm really starting to get pissed off...I don't know what's going on.

See, people call me a luddite for not wanting to sell things on ebay and the like, but really I just don't to have to deal with shit like that.

see, i know exactly what you mean. i don't trust stuff like that, but being in photography school and also on a budget...i HAVE to find good deals on stuff. when I started, I only would do amazon because I don't trust personal sellers or buyers on ebay. i guess because you don't ever really hear about people getting ripped off on amazon. It's always ebay or craigslist.

It's really been great up to this point. I've seriously probably saved over a thousand dollars buying things there. I calculated how much I saved by buying my textbooks there instead of the store at my school and I saved around $280. and that was one semester.

This is really the only problems I've had with it, so I can't complain too much. It hasn't cost me anything except for some sales. It just pisses me off. I want to know what's going on.
