    Dog seems to be healing fine and she's back in her normal spirits, but theradio-telescope has to stay on her head for another week.

    Took my car for it's 60k mile service today. It's another 500 bucks, but the way things have been going, I want to make goddamn sure there's nothing that can go wrong with the car too!

    Just to keep piling on the stupidity, the people who installed out water heater wrote to tell us our town requires that it be inspected :wtf:. Yet another brand new beurocratic requirement that wasn't around the last time we had such a job done.

    Mary's staying home for that one. The town inspector said he'll come way early so she can get to work on time.
