So you think that the party of God and morals is really full of closeted homosexuals?

Then that means the party of Satan and immorality is peopled by blackmailers - and you're a proud member?

No, if the "party of God and Morals" is full of closeted sodomites...

...then conversely, the "party of Satan" must be full of closeted Saints and Christians.

So there's this guy at my school who thinks that the official student-run editorially-independent newspaper is too liberal. So he started a competing "conservative" paper. Said guy has tried to hook up with me before.

Point taken but he seemed to be dividing the world into closeted gays and those who blackmail them. Last I heard, being gay wasn't a crime. But blackmail is.

So what does that have to do with anything. Not all conservatives are religious and not all religious people are conservative.

Maybe you just have a pretty mouth.

Just four fucking weeks ago, you tried to pin the sins of the entire Republican party on a fucking COUNTY COMMISSIONER:

    http://www.wordforge.net/showthread.php?t=53926

Now you've worked your way up to a state legislator in a place where there are no conservatives regardless of the letter by their name.

No fucking sale. The shit you post is a waste of space.

It would also seem your tollerance regarding fags depends largely on their political affiliation. Why is that?

    Hmmmm.

A quick search for Democrats inolved in gay scandals at all levels of government turned out an inordinate number of hits.

Should I challenge Xerafin's notion that his political masters all have golden pussies or assholes?

In my experience, Democrats really are more sexually uptight than Republicans. You should see how things go at the meetings. Seriously.

Maybe both sides need to take sex out of the political battlefield?

Democrats are probably afraid to mention sex because they think someone will get sued for "sexual harassment" or something.

    PC bullshit, and all that.

Well, there's certainly an element of that. However, it often seems like sex — hell, fun of any kind — is frowned upon. Which seems odd in the "sex, drugs and rock and roll" party. Truth be told, Republicans are more fun to party with and let loose — waaay loose — despite their rhetoric about "family values" and morality.

My tolerance extends only to those who aren't self-hating fags. I find people like this Repub as worse than even those that harbor religious objections over individual rights, because these self-haters will vote against any "gay" legislation for fear of being accused as gay. I assure you that I would disavow any self-hating gay Democrat as much as any Repub, but I haven't seen any in recent memory. These closeted Repubs, however, are just popping up all over the place... :jayzus:

Man, this is all so confusing. I don't know what is right or wrong but one reason that I am not all that religious is all the people that have been married 4 times and have 3 illegitimate kids seem to feel that the lord is behind them when they point the finger and say "them queers ain't livin' right". I mean who the fuck are they to judge and the bible that I have read says not to judge, but that is all the fuck those religious types seem to do.

Find a way that will produce a decent result without one side or the other undermining the government because the president's not under your banner. What you SHOULD do is fight like hell during the election, fight like rabid dogs. After the election, whoever wins wins. What you don't do is promise to be an elected official who works for the country, and then if things don't go your way sit down with your arms crossed and refuse to play.

That's not the point... The point is that a lot of Christian Conservatives pledge their allegience to the Republican party due to their platform of denying gays the rights the rest of us have.... denouncing gays the right to openly serve in the military and marry each other for example... Suffice to say, I doubt that very few chrisitan conservatives have the capacity to vote for an openly gay candidate for public office.

Democrats, on the other hand, traditionally support the right for gays to serve in the military and while many are not for gay marriage, they are not against the idea. Me myself, I would not have a problem voting for an openly gay candidate for public office because I do not feel that this speaks to one's ability to perform any job other than personal gaurdian of my asshole. I couldn't possibly care any less if Bill Clinton himself was fucking Al Gore in the ass the entire 8 years he was in the White House. If I could, I would vote for him again... but at the same time, I find it amusing to point out every instance that I can of the kind of hypocrisy that comes out of the republican party while trying to appeal to Christian conservatives in order to win elections.

Chrisitian consevative... the very term is a hypocrisy!

A LOT of Christian Conservatives? I don't think so. I'm sure there are some but saying that's their sole reason for supporting conservatism is wrong. There are a lot of non-Christian conservatives who dislike gays as well. There are also a good number of non-conservative Christians out there to consider.

There is also a majority (probably) of people of all stripes who could care less one way or the other. I don't see it as a defining issue on the national level at all. Most of the conservatives I know anything about are far more concerned with the WOT, the economy, and big government getting out of hand. Attitudes on homosexuality are barely registering these days.

I just contributed something positive by shooting down your bullshit. The word Christian doesn't even appear in the fucking article. Not even one sentence that hints at his religious affiliation. But please don't let me get in the way of your preconcieved notions and other delusions.

You didn't make your fucking case, no more than you did four weeks ago. You're terrible at this.
