When you need an extremely large appointment book to keep track of all of the activities and things you need to BRING to said activities.

I think I may be starting to understand why my husband has been heavily hinting a few committees need to be dropped :chris: I need a personal assistant :kor:

and have had the song 'Star Trekkin through the universe' playing through my head all day. With the accompanying dirty cartoon...because it works that way.

    wweeeeeeeeeeelllllllllll

Urm. You see. Its not ACTUALLY so much the kids. Its the fact that we are a small community and the average person around here is either...in their 50'-70's. Or stay at home and my age or under - and it seems that (in this general vicinity anyway) I may possibly have gotten involved in a 'few' volunteer committees. Since everything is volunteer and because I'm one of the few in the 30's range willing to do it (the rest have lives HAHA).

So have worked many a community function/fair/whatever with one in the sling and keeping the rest in line - but my husband's hours have changed where he is now on call 24/7 and now that the school activities have kicked in on top of the extra-curricular ones - it is proving too much. I've been FORBIDDEN to volunteer for more than two functions a month now. Yeesh. How controlling :P

I hear ya about the need for a day planner and it's size. That's why in the late 90s I bought a Palm Pilot. Eventually I switched to a smart phone. I'd rather carry those than a physical mobile filing cabinet

I have an Iphone with the Coziapp and it is coordinated with my husband's email...plus the physical daytimer (because my phones have had incidences with coffee cups..and pavement..I'm hard on small electronics)

Even pre-organize my meal plans and grocery lists....
