Well, a lot of people have a reason to be. There's a borderline existential question here -- if you decline to get beaten to death by a fuckin' scumbag, are you gonna get imprisoned by the state for refusing to be murdered? Seems like a raw deal to me -- either you let a thug motherfucker beat you to death or you throw the remainder of your life away in a prison cell. That hardly seems moral. Zimmerman refused to be murdered and a jury of his peers refused to waste his life another way by sentencing him to prison. Ever since then, everybody and their brother has had it in for the fucker. Can't beat that for 'damned if you do, damned if you don't', can ya?
Maybe Zombie just simply watched the trial and, maybe, read up on the event, and learned the, ya know, facts of the case.

Here's my take - Justin Bieber - shoot on sight, end of story. But being a super-popular celebrity he gets cut slack, just like any celebrity would if they acted insane. Congressman Grimm - treat his comments as verbal assault and charge him accordingly. He's connected, and will get off scot-free. Richard Sherman - don't follow sports, can't comment. Anyway, you missed my point. Once Zim was found out to be not a "real" Latino (those people get shuffled around in the demographic game like nobody's business) he was further victimized as the bad guy. Then it became "white guy murders black kid". It's hard to drum up outrage when a minority kills another minority. That shit happens all the time - it's accepted. Forget drumming up outrage when a minority kills a white - again expected. White (even conveniently white) killing a black? THAT'S AN OUTRAGE! HE WAS HUNTED DOWN LIKE A DOG! Now - tell me I'm wrong.
17 is old enough to join the military with a parent's permission. And if Martin had successfully killed Zimmerman and wound up on trail, is anyone foolish enough to think he'd have been tried as a juvenile?
