I would wonder if she has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I know a family that has it, and it doesn't cause them any problems when they are young, but becomes a serious handicap as the decades go by. I used to sort of admire people who were more "flexible" than usual, until I learned about Ehlers Danlos. Now I wonder if they aren't going to regret it very much later in life.
