I wonder if he'd completed filming on F&F7. IMDB still shows it as filming. With him gone, they're going to have to re-shoot if a substantial part of his role hasn't been filmed.

Edit: actually, it's still unclear whose car it was, but the reports are consistent that Walker was in the passenger seat.

Just saw the pic. You would have to be pretty lucky to survive something like that.

Apparently a hoax site stated that he had died yesterday, and earlier today his reps were stating that his death yesterday was hoax.

Did he live long enough to trade insurance information with the tree?

The car looks like it's broken in half behind the passenger compartment. This obviously occurred at a very high rate of speed...



There are some skid marks leading up to the curb (in the middle and extreme right of the picture), and the damage to the tree on the right suggests that's where an impact occurred.

Damn... that tree did that to the car??? That's fucking insane.

That's not an accident any vertebrate walks away from. That car was shredded, not merely totaled, and an explosive fireball on top of that. Gotta figure that at least it was a quick death.

It's like they tell kids in driver's ed.

Trees and trains ALWAYS have the right of way.

They also have to impacted at one hell of a lot faster than 15 mph.

He dies the way his character would have mostly likely. I can't help but find that amusing.

Vin Diesel is more central to the F&F franchise, especially the latter installments. The show will go on.

Watching this video of the immediate aftermath of the wreck, I believe I see a moving form inside the flames (beginning around 0:21). I think at least one of those guys survived and was conscious for a few moments. Ugh.

Yea, gonna pass on watching that....

It isn't graphic. In fact, I may be seeing things. But it sure does look to me like something is moving around inside the fire.
