Paul Walker dead. Here's the latest update, the one I posted above was one of the first news sites to report his death.
Aw, shit. That's horrible. I wonder if he'd completed filming on F&F7. IMDB still shows it as filming. With him gone, they're going to have to re-shoot if a substantial part of his role hasn't been filmed.
Aw hell. I was expecting a funny thread about right-wing paranoid delusional conspiracy theorists. This isn't a funny thread.
Sounds like he had gotten a new Porsche and a friend of his was driving. The friend was killed as well... http://www.tmz.com/2013/11/30/paul-walker-dead-dies-car-accident-fatal-fire-crash/ Edit: actually, it's still unclear whose car it was, but the reports are consistent that Walker was in the passenger seat.
Apparently a hoax site stated that he had died yesterday, and earlier today his reps were stating that his death yesterday was hoax.
An article with photos of the accident scene: http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/paul-walker-dies-crash-report-article-1.1533786 The car looks like it's broken in half behind the passenger compartment. This obviously occurred at a very high rate of speed... There are some skid marks leading up to the curb (in the middle and extreme right of the picture), and the damage to the tree on the right suggests that's where an impact occurred.
That's not an accident any vertebrate walks away from. That car was shredded, not merely totaled, and an explosive fireball on top of that. Gotta figure that at least it was a quick death.
I'd have to say no, yes, and yes. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/29902/paul-walker-dies-in-a-car-crash
He dies the way his character would have mostly likely. I can't help but find that amusing. Vin Diesel is more central to the F&F franchise, especially the latter installments. The show will go on.
I'm already sick of the facebook posts attempting to shame people for not remembering the other passenger.
Watching this video of the immediate aftermath of the wreck, I believe I see a moving form inside the flames (beginning around 0:21). I think at least one of those guys survived and was conscious for a few moments. Ugh.
It isn't graphic. In fact, I may be seeing things. But it sure does look to me like something is moving around inside the fire. Edit: watched it again. I'm not seeing things. There's someone moving inside the fire.
