Not Trying to be a Kissass, But...

I've only been here about 9-10 month, but Anc is not really that bad. I was reading the Castlle ban thread and I noticed some people are basically blaming Anc for banning him just because he doesn't like him. I disagree, I think Anc banned Castle on legitimate grounds. This is coming from a guy who genuinely likes Castle. I've taken his side almost 100% of the time as he has me, but don't blame Anc. Anc has been kind to me despite our differences. I've ran my mouth like a jackass on several occasions and even dared him to ban me and yet, he let me be. Some of you may not like me or think I'm an idiot. Some of you may like me, but I'm telling you, Anc is not at fault here. Again, I'm not trying to be a kiss ass or win any brownie points, I just call them like I see them. This is just my two cents. If you disagree, fine, whatever. I'm not going to argue, just putting my opinion out there. Keep in mind that if this were TNZ, I would have been banned already on political grounds. As a newcomer, I can happily say that this is not TNZ.

Yeah, I mean shit happens and this place is waaaaaaaaaaay more tolerant than TBBS. Which is why I stay here.

I like it just for the point in the Castle threads where everyone changes position and honestly tries to help. It's like the end of a Christmas movie.

Well, no. Farmer just believes some of the antics of Castle's most extreme trolling personas to be real when they align with his beliefs. Which is a bot fo a shame, because, and I'll say this again, I think Farmer is actually quite smart and just extremely young and misinformed. Given time and better sources, he might grow up to become a respectable conservative or even libertarian debaters with lots of basically sane views, with which I would still completely disagree, but in equally sane disagreement.

My sense of Federal Farmer is that while he is indeed young and misinformed, that he wants to keep it that way, as he clearly hasn't learned a thing since the days he was Nowhere Man on TrekBBS.

[Obama] Let me be clear[Obama]. In TNZ, if they don't like you and/or your political beliefs, you get banned very quickly. As soon as you point out something that destroys there world view, you get banned. You do it enough, you get a permaban. Don't believe me? I've asked Bonz repeatedly why I was banned, she came up with no legitimate reason. I can only conclude that was because of political views since it was the only posts I made. Still not convinced, just ask Tardman, he'll undoubtably come up with some bullshit. Just assume the opposite of anything he says.

Why don't you ask Awesome Powesom, he/she? is immature and their decisions are politically charged/motivated. Ask Flying Lemons or Locutus, you're telling me they don't make decisions based on politics? When I get a legitimate reason, a rule I broke, I'll believe you, until then, no. No disrespect, I'm sure you are fair, but the others are not. What is your handle there? If anythin, at the very least, people encourage mods to ban based on political beliefs.

See...I just dropped by the TrekBBS to see if I could find a reason for Nowhere Man's ouster, and, lo and behold... found an active profile page for him. Not only that, but said page lists TNZ as an active group membership. He's not banned. Certainly not perma'ed. Just simply hasn't posted since May of 2012. See for yourself: LINK

There are folks in TNZ who are a lot more conservative than Fed Farmer / Nowhere Man, and they're still members as well, which kinda puts the screws to the notion that folks get the boot there for expressing disagreement with the rest of TNZ's admittedly left-leaning world view.

How come there are no conservatives, libertarians or otherwise inTNZ? Maybe they don't get banned, but they get treated like shit until they just simply leave. They are not a tolerant group.
