Conclusion to be drawn from this thread: Normal men think about sex all the time. Gunlubbers think about guns more than they think about sex.

Thanks for your well thought out and no doubt scientifically proven theory! So guys who know a Ford from a Chevy at a glance - would you call them "carlubbers" or "cartards?" BTW I can't tell a Ford from a Chevy, because cars to me are just "point A to point B". But I won't disparage their common knowledge (to most men) just because it's Greek to me.

You guys are your own worst enemy. You've got a whole 'nother forum for discussing the difference between a Ford and a Chevy, but you keep spilling over into here. It's all you care about.

It's not that we don't understand the Second Amendment. It's that we understand you.

I was laissez-faire about guns until I joined WF. You guys changed my mind.

    Keep yappin'.

Some of us think of neither.

Well some of us. It might only be me.

That said, I've fired lots of guns. But my simple 12 gauge pump action shotgun is more than bad ass enough for me.

Yappin'? You're flapping your gums but still won't answer my questions! For example - how many NRA members commit armed robbery/murder/or any other violent gun acts compared to non-NRA members? Or does that not play into your agenda?

You can do that research for yourself, lazy-ass.

The real question is, How many people who don't own guns kill other people using guns?

Oh my, I thought you were not going to go in circles anymore with me, but here you are asking me to dance. I have to say I am sorry but I have tossed my insults at you for this particular moment. You can go back to your little fantasy where you are a big boy and next time you go fucking around pulling up some things you cannot explain or understand remember this and think twice you fucking moron. Now i am going to move on from this and you can have the last word or two. I would give you the advice not to argue with people who are your mental superior, but then you would not be able to say anything around here, so do what you must, and my condolences to the sheep you rape tonight in frustration.

Of the people who kill people with guns, about 32 percent stole the gun they used, which is really irritating to the guns' owners. Only 16 percent purchased the gun from a dealer.

I don't understand the question. It can be taken two ways:
    1) do people who don't own guns kill other people via using guns as their method of killing said people?
    2) do people who don't own guns kill other people (who are themselves using guns?)

So I'm lazy for not doing my own research, but you are not lazy for not doing the research to answer my question - and then asking yet another question (which you won't research?) Got it.

But the NRA is evil because.....ummm...........liberals perceive them as being evil. And even if NRA members don't commit gun crimes, they set the stage to enable others to do so by......ummm.....going door-to-door and encouraging people to commit gun crimes!

Bureau of Justice Statistics - guns in crime

    Another source says:

If the question is actually “What percentage of criminals legally buy a gun and commit a crime with it,” the percentage is extremely small. The last data suggests that a fraction of one percent of those who commit a gun related crime will legally purchase a gun and then commit a crime with it. Most of those crimes are “crimes of domestic violence,” essentially crimes of passion, and the gun happened to be in the house. If no gun were present, some other weapon, knives, clubs, fists or something else, would have been used instead. While the overwhelming majority of professional criminals will use stolen “street guns” that are cheap but very definitely illegal.

However, if the question is “What percentage of crimes are committed with legally purchased guns” the answer is about six percent of murders – and very few other crimes. Amateurs buy guns at a dealers; which involves extensive paperwork, identification, FBI background checks, and so on. Pros buy guns on the street, where the only requirement is money – or other valuta.

The overwhelming majority of gun related crimes are committed with guns that have been stolen, and traded for drugs. Those guns are passed from criminal to criminal, sold and resold, and may very well be used in hundreds of crimes before they are recovered from someone accused of a crime.

The Bureau of Justice? No doubt they have a link to the Department of Justice. Well maybe Eric Holder himself could attest to the veracity of these facts. If there's anybody who knows about guns getting into the wrong hands, he's our man! :D

You, I believe. gturd could recite a well established and irrefutable fact, and I'd still have to find it suspect in some way, simply on general principle.

I never denied it was true. Merely stated that it wasn't believable coming from gturd, who lies like a fuckin' rug with startling regularity. And as my last post states, I have no such problem with MAOHOS, as I have never known him to intentional spread untruths.

Absolutely no crow has been consumed.

The gun debate always boils down to this basic dichotomy:

In a dark movie theater where a crazed gunman opens fire and start killing people you have two types of people

1 - those who will die on their knees, whimpering and begging for their lives, without the means to defend themselves. Their only hope will be to escape the theater before the shooter discovers them.

2 - those who will be either open or concealed carrying. They will have the ability to defend themselves. When the gunman approaches them, they can shoot back. Maybe they end up dying anyway, maybe not. But if they die, it won't be as a helpless sheep.

Which person do you want to be? How would you rather die? Begging and sobbing, or shooting and fighting back? Your choice.

You forgot the third and fourth type of person.

The third is the bumbling idiot who shoots innocent people while he is blind firing in fear of his life

The fourth is the guy with the gun who runs away because it is not his fight (Despite the cowardly nature of this, it is the right choice.)

Here we have yet another post from Dim Bulb. God damn boy, you are trump stupid.

Don't tell them, they pretty much go around at the same state of readiness which is why their guns won't matter if a dedicated shooter is there. The thought of I wonder what that noise is will be answered with a bullet to the head because they have made themselves a first kill target.
