I care about abortion, but it's pretty much settled law. Not much will ever change so imo it's not a battle worth fighting.

That end result can't happen, even at the state level.

Tell that to North Dakota.

Thankfully, the state has no sway over the many tribal communities in the state.

My son-in-law got "shaken down" on a reservation recently. Some huge native american saw he was from out of state and travelling through at a gas station on the reservation. He shook my SIL hand all friendly-like..... then said "I'm not letting go of your hand until you give me some money." Of course he pulled the "I only have a debit card" thing, but the big guy said he'd be happy with any change he happened to have. He had a five or whatever, and the guy let go of his hand and walked off. Pan-handlers gonna pan-handle wherever you go.

You mistake me for someone following abortion news, that I would know what's going on in north Dakota beyond the oil fields.

I don't care about things like "childhood mortality" or "literacy rates" or any of the namby pamby things that liberals obsess about.

After all, what country ever became great because of children or reading?

If there were someone worth voting for, I might care about it. However our last few POTUS elections have been about whom to vote against, and I'm just not on board with that.
