Too bad Reagan got rid of that pesky "Fairness Doctrine" back in the '80s.

It's called having your cake and eating it, too. The theatre troupe get to be called out while the administration appears magnanimous.

You simpletons are going to get trolled like this over and over again because you'll never learn to adapt.

Yep, we have seen the side-by-side comparisons. Trump is ahead of every administration for the past several decades. Obama didn't make a cabinet appointment until December, and Citibank had already given him the list of everyone he was going to appoint.

In response to such infantile bullshit, Trump supporters are trolling Starbucks. :rotfl:

The baristas have to shout "Trump!"

Unfortunately the Trump supporters have to be careful about using this troll or they get all their coffee orders mixed up with other Trump supporters. :sigh:

Yeah, that'll show those low-wage workers at Starbucks! And why not say your name is "Merry Christmas Trump"? That way it'll force them to mention Christmas. Oh, you'll totally make those fuckers pay!

Step #2. As the baristas shout "Trump", respond with "Who's your daddy?!"

Exactly. More economic growth and more American's amped up on caffeine.

Under Hillary everyone would have been on Qualudes, Xanax, and Geritol.

The upside is that the eventual fatigue over the reaction to every stupid tweet or speech will spell the end of outrage culture.

    I'm excited.

Outrage culture is big business. It won't end any time soon. I remember saying many years ago that I couldn't wait for the death of reality TV. It's 2016, and reality TV is not only still here, it's bigger and more popular than ever, because it takes few resources, but nets huge profits. The same applies to outrage culture. It's easy to piss people off on the internet, so you just get people outraged, and drop your ads/links/gofundmes/petitions anywhere you want. Money in the bank.

Also that theatres are no longer sanctuary, no safe spaces there.

We're back to the only safe spaces in America being college clubs that exclude everyone of a different color (or theme).

Theater is a safe space for the oppressed, not the oppressor. Mike Pence is an oppressor.

Meh. Reality teevee replaced talk show teevee which, twenty years ago, didn't appear to be going anywhere.

Hopefully "reality" (it isn't--most of it's staged and scripted) shows will go away, too.

We're in the golden age of scripted television. Reality TV came to popularity because the barriers of entry were so high for network TV. Looking at the landscape, those barriers are gone. Reality TV is already dead.

That's why I dislike reality TV as much as I do. If they called it drama and fiction, that would be okay, but they don't. They insist upon the false notion that it is real, that the people are real, and the situations are real. As we both know, apes like to imitate, and humans love to imitate what they perceive as real, especially on TV.

Pence on 'Hamilton' on FNS: "It was a real joy to be there..."

An oppressor? Oh sweet fucking jesus please explain to me (using venn diagrams, pie graphs, 8 X 10 color glossies with circles & arrows, whatever) how the fuck Mike Pence is oppressing
one single swinging dick in the cast of that play.
Please, break this down for me, I really need to hear this shit.

    Specifically this:

See, Mike Pence is a firm believer in conversion therapy, which is the notion that gay people can be converted to heterosexuality. It is being outlawed in a number of states for its cruelty, and for the damage it causes the person being "converted."

So there's your answer, focused only on the swinging dicks, for which you specified. Now, if your response to this is anything other than "I did not know that, but now I do," followed up by reasonable questions, don't bother, because if you can't comprehend the basic understanding of why many people in theater, a significant number who are gay, might not approve of Mike Pence as VP, then I can't help you.

And you honestly think that Mike Pence's belief in conversion therapy will ever become accepted policy and is a credible source of fear among sane gay people? Do you think that anyone will back him up in his belief and take the ball and run with it? Do you think that Trump takes any stock in conversion therapy or has any beef (keep it clean kids) with gays? I don't want to sound mean (and nothing personal, please don't take this wrong) but you must be one paranoid delusional motherfucker.
