Speaking of men, we are able to discuss domestic violence - we can recognise that it is mostly men responsible without it being read as all (or even a majority of) men being responsible, and we can brush off those who do try that as being kooks.

So why the fuck can't we do that about Islam? Doesn't mean it has to be one-sided (the West has its share of reciprocated issues), but there is a definite discussion about Islam to be had and its role in Western societies (and no, I'm not suggesting removal of rights) but nobody seems that keen on having it except the mentalists.
