Saw it. I don't know why anyone should be surprised by the new Marvel theme, I was expecting that at at some point. I liked it a lot, but here's some of my gripes. Zandaya, completely unnecessary character. Stark creates the suit and gadgets. I didn't like it in CW and I still don't like it. The reveal at the end, funny, but no. I don't like that in Man of Steel either. Flash Thompson should not be a scrawny nerdy guy who Peter could easily kick his ass. Yes, peter could kick everyone's ass, but Flash should be intimidating. What I liked: The real teenage angst. The other big reveal. The real high school setting. The real NYC setting. The scene in DC. The use of the gadgets. Tony and Peter's scenes. Happy. The Vulture and crew. The fights. Aunt May. Cap. The depiction of Peter as a really smart guy. Creating the web fluid. The music. Overall, pretty solid and better than Raimi's Spider-Man 2 in ways, but it's kind of unfair because back then we didn't have a cinematic universe.
I'm gonna say it. Spiderman 2 isn't that great It's a cartoon with terrible acting crazy extras running around overacting and Toby is 30
Not sure about a full face mask/helmet design - the Wasp has never gone that route IIRC. Otherwise looks quite nice.
Comic-Con is going to have a 90 minute Marvel presentation. I'm betting we get an "Infinity War", teaser, an "Ant-Man & The Wasp", teaser, and the whole Infinity War cast shows up onstage.
I don't know how to hack out and paste an Instagram pic, but at this link is Stan Lee coming back to the Infinity War set. So, I guess he's keeping happy by keeping busy. http://www.superherohype.com/news/400527-stan-lee-returns-to-the-set-of-avengers-infinity-war

Where's the cowl and the eyebrow-thingies? This looks like Thanos on Vacation. Here's what he should look like: I'm not saying movie-Thanos needs to exactly match comics-Thanos, but come on . . . there's a fairly distinctive look there. They did it in his previous appearances.
From that angle, it looks like Marvel pulled a random wrestler out of the ring and Photoshopped him purple and ran a fork over his chin a few times. I haven't exactly rewatched the movies to death, but I remember him looking a little more alien than that.
He's not wearing it in that picture. In the other times we've seen him in the Marvel films, he has been. It's a hat-like thing; it comes off.
Even Darth Vader has to take his armor off for a bath now and then. You don't want Thanos showing up to the fight smelling like ass and old couch, do ya?
