A Chart to Help Those on the Fence About Punching Nazis

I was at my local bar the other night and a guy I know who's a huge leftist, he picked a fight with a guy for no reason. He said the guy flicked a cigarette in his face and asked what should have he had done. I'm not a bible thumping Cristian, but I told him, "do what Jesus would have done and turn the other cheek." That's what these people should do, walk the fuck away, but they can't because they have so much hate inside them. The left has gotten out of hand and we are going to continue to see increasing violence from them.

When "the left", spends 50 goddamned years stockpiling weapons, sucking the 2nd amendment like a dick in a glory hole, making paranoid conspiracy theories to justify the weapons stockpiling, doomsday prepping, licking the assholes of doomsday preachers, casually tossing around assassination jokes, and coating their pickup trucks with bumper stickers with crazy violent slogans, and being the side 98% of all domestic terrorism comes from, THEN you get to think they're the "scary violent side we should all be afraid of".

Anecdotal cases of isolated assholes ain't gonna cut the mustard.

It just shows an example of how leftists think. You see most Christian conservatives, you know, the people you hate, are taught to turn the other cheek. Leftists just go around punching people they don't agree with and this thread suggests that many here are totally okay with that.

Your buddies aren't getting beat up due to their stance on trade policy, taxation, infrastructure, entitlements, healthcare etc. Aka politics. 1) A single Nazi is not a threat sufficient to justify these punches, unless he is actually acting violently or issuing threats.
2) Instead, we should call out such dumbasses in publicly humiliating ways--but never violence.
3) Anyone who thinks ethnic cleansing is "just politics" is probably a Nazi.
4) @Dinner is probably a Nazi.

1b & 2) Public Nazism is in and of itself a threat. By treating ethnic cleansing as any other political speech legitimatizes it. It isn't to be protected, it is to be stomped out.

Police said they they received several reports Sunday of a man wearing a swastika instigating fights at Third Avenue and Pine Street. Police said they were on the scene within five minutes and found the man — with a Nazi flag armband — on the ground.

“[He] left after removing his armband,” Seattle police said in a tweet about the incident on Monday.

Sorry this being a free country I don't think I have the authority to pick & choose what beliefs I can physically assault people for believing in unless they are acting on their beliefs. But that's just me.

I was in Bosnia - I'm well aware of the evils of ethnic cleansing. The Srebenica massacre pretty much sets a solid watermark for that. Thus I honestly have a hard time believing that you will run across an act of ethnic cleansing in Seattle. If you see one taking place, by all means intervene. Granted I've only visited, you live there. Maybe it's a wilder place than I thought.
