Some resume there. Aside from the basics (35 years old at least, natural born American citizen) his "qualifications" Harvard law educated, community organizer, and briefly U.S. Senator (during which a huge portion of his Senate time was taken up running for president). By any reasonable stretch of the imagination both McCain and Romney were far, far more qualified to be president of the United States. And don't carp about Sarah Palin. No one reasonably votes for the president based on whom their running mate is.
Every current Supreme Court justice went to either Harvard or Yale, so Obama's in good company. None of which has any bearing on the subject at hand. Hillary has had far more government experience than Trump, yet I don't see you referring to Trump as the "novelty" President. The simple fact of the matter is that given the state of the US economy, no matter who was running for President in '08, the Democratic candidate would have had an advantage over the Republican candidate, regardless of qualifications. If you want to claim that Obama was a "novelty" candidate, you're going to have to prove that his ethnicity was the deciding factor in him getting elected.
Once again "novelty president" is not an insult. Its a reference to the particular factor that led to a person become president. Being black in the case of President Obama. Being a reality tv/cultural-media caricature/supposedly successful businessman in the case of President Trump.
Or maybe Obama was elected because people thought he was more qualified for the office than McCain. Maybe for some folks, their vote for Obama had nothing to do with race. Ever consider that? Even I've grown tired of your tired, lame attempt to marginalize his presidency with the stupid "novelty president" label. As tired as I am of seeing dumbfuck internet twats continually refer to him with childish names like "Obummer" or "Obozo." As for Trump, he's an embarrassment. His presence in the White House is an indictment of the uninformed, gullible, shamelessly ignorant American public. The 63 million who voted for him were sold a bill of goods and are being shafted. Trump isn't their champion. Trump isn't the Blue Collar Avenger. Trump couldn't care less about the average middle class American struggling to make ends meet. I get a kick out of the wailing and hysterics the Left has been engaged in the past year, the over-the-top doom and gloom. I love to see self-righteous Progressives taken down a notch and their little PC bubbles burst. I enjoy the apocalyptic theatrics of the Left as they battle their Trump existential threat. But make no mistake - Trump is a buffoon, a fraud, a used-car salesman, a petty tyrant who rode a wave of disgust over Washington corruption all the way to the Oval Office. He was aided along the way by inept Republican competitors, who were all exposed as interchangeable paper dolls who couldn't figure out how to deal with Trump's schoolyard bully tactics. Then he was aided by a corrupt DNC that wanted to rig the the process in order to anoint Hillary the nominee, pissing off a large section of voters who loved Bernie. Then they apparently didn't understand that Trump wasn't scared to fight dirty and drag Bill's scandals into the proceedings.
I don't really have a problem with a "wall", but it should be as some here have described, a virtual wall, in the sense that we have a combination of things. Or we could just have a moat with alligators.
Ope, Flashy's switching tracks again. I knew this day was coming. Thought for sure he was going to go Muslim next. That would have been too creative. I over-estimated him.
Credit where credit's fucking due. I'll add this: References to Trump as 'Orange', 'Cheeto', or '45' annoy me. I don't like Trump, but I'm not going to give him power over me by needlessly disparaging his name... though I do think Drumpf does have a certain ring to it. He disparages it himself.
Podcast about the wall and how some Americans could find their houses on the Mexican side, if it's built.
Want another historical tidbit? This is the first time in its 229 year history that there's not a Protestant on the Supreme Court. All of the Justices are either Roman Catholic or Jewish. I don't think it's terribly important, but it is historically significant.
As a former NYer, "Donnie" is the nicest thing I can call him. Otherwise he's Donnie Smallhands, Der Drumpfenfuhrer or, as of this parade nonsense, Il Douche.
