Oh my gosh, it's so sad, that police chief crying about that poor child. I mean, his story sounds odd because protestors have nothing against fire departments, not a word one against firemen of any kind, but there's no reason for the chief of police to lie, that would make the protestors look bad. Remember, the police will lie to your fucking face and not think twice about it. The news will reinforce it because poor black people standing up and pushing against the classes creates instability. The police will enforce the status quo, and the media will help them do it. Malcolm X once said "the media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent.” This chief will have his officers firing rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at peaceful protestors again very soon, and he might have a few cops kneel during the daylight hours long enough to snap a few shots for the press. I expect this pacifies people like you, and also anyone who wants to go back to normal and pretend none of this was ever necessary, that the only thing to worry about was the upcoming election. Ssshhh. Go to sleep. Your democracy is fine. It's not really black people angry at centuries of systemic abuse, it's outside agitators. They're the real threat.
Not only that, but while they were tear-gassing peaceful protestors there in order to let him get his photo op at the church, the rector of the church apparently didn't know it was happening because she was at the other side of the church giving water to protesters.
Holy shit balls, there's a new one on the hook: Edit: He has claimed to have misspoken: Source: https://deadline.com/2020/06/lapd-c...-floyds-death-is-on-looters-hands-1202948867/ So he apologized for directly blaming them, but in the apology he also implicitly blamed them, too, so... yeah.
Yeah...I guess these stories are all lies too.... IAFF Issues Statement Against Attacks on Firefighters The looters and rioters have attacked police, firefighters, journalists, bystanders, businesses, police cars, fire trucks....there isn't anything left that haven't attacked. You're kidding yourself if you think otherwise.
We're giving passes to our Twin Cities employees stating X is an employee commuting home after work and I guess exempt from the curfew for that purpose. But with all these stories coming out I'm honestly afraid what might happen if someone gets pulled over by a cop who just doesn't care.
For the folks who don't go on social media, you avoid a lot of drama, but you also avoid a lot of the on-the-ground videos people have where the cops are misbehaving. Mainstream news outlets scrub things pretty well before they make it to air. Lee Carter, Virginia House member, talks about this. That's why I hang around Twitter and IG, because most of these videos you've seen of police officers just fucking people over, people who haven't done a thing wrong, aren't really making it on news stations. The idea that it's the protestors causing most of the violence, and that "outside agitators" are the real culprits makes the rounds instead.
Didn't say they were all lies, just that I think the chief of police is full of shit and is crying crocodile tears.
yes looters and lowlife dead-enders have no problem with beating up on women because they are cowards in general. That's why they never attack unless they are in a group. But to attack as a group and to attack a weaker target such as a woman makes even more sense to them. There's a clip of a female media member getting hit with a cheap shot from behind then they attack the male media member with her - three on one of course.
So we've got police turning on police, and protesters turning on protesters. This is the weirdest riot ever.
Here's one for the conspiracy theorists.... I freely admit, that thought crossed my mind at first. Maybe he just cleaned up nice before his arrest.
I know, that's why I put that underneath the twitter post. That said, this is some serious shit: Come on, people who hold up the founding fathers as their guiding principle, who say they love the Constitution, surely THIS is something that you see as a very bad thing for any government to do against its own citizens.
Which is one of the reasons why I'm sure Dayton's going to be suffering from a severe case of protein loss once he hears about it.
