he's not an actual resident - he's there temporarily. The mayor is responsible for and serves the residents who voted her in. So like it or not it's a "done deal" now and he can stress out over it or accept it - he doesn't have to worry about it upsetting him and raising his remarkably low blood pressure!
Okay, that last bit was funny. But he'll be shrieking on Twitter for hours anyway. Someone should prescribe him a laxative so he'd spend less time on the toilet/Twitter. He might actually lose some weight.

An increasing degree of militarization over the last thirty or so years, a for-profit prison system that ABSOLUTELY must be dismantled, a mindset that starts with "Blue Lives Matter" and ratchets right up to "so no other ones do," and of course the age-old problem of when you give people authority, most will see it as a license to be an asshole.
