Nope. "Attack Of The Clones", just failed to mention Mandos, so fans were left to assume Jango just had a cool bounty hunter suit on. The cartoons re-canonized Mandos, so Jango's suit (and thus Boba's) is retroactively Mandolorian again.
I fell asleep when I watched it on Friday. I almost always do that. 30 fps seems to be a sleep trigger, but I watched it in full last night. I love the western theme and the dragon killing was really cool, for me at least. Grand fun. Hopefully it'll catch up to the awesomeness that was season 1
Super enjoyable. Still the best* Star Wars outside the original trilogy (I haven't watched the animated series but they CAN'T be better than this)
you need to cram then. much of this season (like, everything outside of boba fett) relies on that lore. Ahsoka is probably the deepest developed character in the universe, and while she starts off as annoying, well... you know how pissed we all were at the end of ENT and it was just Riker's jerk off? Closing Rebels out on a shot of her after 35 years was exactly the opposite, and kind of back doors into everything we're about to see. Clone Wars and Rebels may not be "better", but they have their moments, fill in a lot of lore while creating a ton of new stuff, and can be everything star wars should be. Resistance was Droids for a new generation though.
her first couple of years, yeah... she was as annoying as TPM Anikin. after she starts to mature through to the end of Rebels I came to appreciate her. We tend to forget that SW is all about kids being big damned heroes-Luke wasn't even 20 when they gave him a top of the line starfighter to blow up a battle moon.
I think I just don't like insert characters (see Burnham, Michael). Did you know that all this time, Anakin had a padawan who was EXTREMELY important to him? Or that Spock had a human foster sister who was EXTREMELY important to him? I'm sure there are other examples. (Sybok, maybe...) It's just lazy, hacky writing. Let a character stand on his or her own merits.
It was unnecessary until it became useful with Burnham, true. Although if you knew Jim Kirk would you tell him about your hot sister? Anakin it's easier to fill in simply because that is all unexplored territory that wouldn't have come up... probably even should be presumed that he did otherwise he'd have no illusions about being a master having never taught. And yeah, everything about that relationship contributes to defining his passion vs his duty issues.
Ever read “The Odyssey” by Homer? Odysseus returns home, disguised as a beggar who is only concerned about filling his belly and then proceeds to kick some major ass.
Having actually roasted a nasty spider with a grill lighter, I can attest that flamethrower works like gangbusters. Bug meat is quite flammable.
