Actually, things are working out fairly well. You figure the most burdensome is Pfizer, but it's good for hospitals and bigger cities. Moderna needs cold, but not extreme cold so along with Pfizer they should be able to get the more or less captive audiences of Medical Personnel and nursing home residents covered (they're easier to keep track of) first. I figure that if a half dozen vaccines hit the market at the same time, it might be chaotic. As it stands, the rollouts should be orderly, of course that's provided the J&J vaccine gets approved in good order. So far, we're two for two, but there's no guarantees that will hold up.

So yes eventually the vaccine will trickle down to myself and other low risk groups and I'll get it like I get all needed vaccinations. As for being filthy lying liberals you said it, not me!

That's a lot of penny pinching. These are just the most initial vaccine shipments. 2.7 million extra doses from Pfizer shouldn't make a any difference to Moderna's bottom line.

What about the stock price? Pfizer’s seen as “struggling” while Moderna’s out the door and in more places? Remember, profits and stock prices don’t always correlate and folks are more than happy to crash a company just to make money off the change in stock prices.
