The All Time Greatest Random Mass Shooting Thread

Yeah, no. Back when I used to hang with the goth kids I remember what the school shrink and guidance counselors did when they found a depressed person. The first thing they do is single them out, then call their parents, embarass them in front of their peers, start making a list of powerful meds to force into them, make notes on their permanent record so they can never escape the stigma, start interviewing their friends, and make their life a living fucking hell. All because some kid expressed their feelings in a dark poem or two.

Their parents better be aware of what happens because from this point they are going to have to fight to keep their kid in regular school over the recommendation of half assed shrinks who want to justify their positions by labelling everyone as a problem.

I watched it happen to too many bright kids who went on to live happier lives after the horrors of high school and being a teenager. They need protection from high school guidance counselors and psychologists who want to harm kids to justify their employment. It is one thing to go to a shrink you pay for and is responsible to you for helping you. It is another thing to have a shrink who is responsible to the school for justifying their salary and presence.

Let us also remember the things that would have prevented this were not guidance counselors or shrinks in the schools. It would have been a metal detector or an administrator who sent the kid home or searched his fucking backpack.

How was it said? IIRC it was the parkland school shooting where the killer pulled the fire alarm to get kids out of the classrooms so he could get them. If this teacher is trying to point out a huge strategic flaw that would send students flooding into a hallway to a mass shooter, and cause confusion on whether to go barricade themselves in a classroom for safety or flee the building that is on fire, then maybe we should be listening and adapting ideas along with helping students to think critically about the situation.

Thinking about the strategy of the situation does not mean you are prepping to shoot everyone. Especially if you are in the situation and might be in danger because of an exploitable flaw. Instead let us let the sheep brained parents loose their shit and find someone completely unrelated to sacrifice so they can feel better.

Oh, and let us not ever suggest we stop selling people guns in the first place. How many fo these shootings happen in places where access to guns is either extremely limited or non existent? Maybe instead of being angry at this teacher you might want to hang some of the local gun owners from some trees because gun owners are always behind these shootings. If you really want to be mad at someone it is the gun owners.
