There is an editing tool, but she was wrong that it applies to everyone. Only admins (and possibly mods) have it. As one of the steps is 'remove old edit tags' it's pretty clear it's an admin/mod tool.

I'm convinced Steve was acting in good faith when he tested the timing, and it does appear there is a five minute window where you can add things without the tag.

The post in question for me was 6 minutes between, but it's possible I took a minute to reply.

But on a board this size Admins are not held to the same neutrality standards most larger boards have, so buyer beware. Yes, they can edit their posts to gaslight if they want, and you'd need to specifically request someone else on staff to check that.

I trust the vast majority of people on the staff, but the vast majority is not everyone.

There have been times where I have seen posts that I know I saw and brought it up later only to have someone like @Bailey tell me that nobody said that. Then I go back and try to find the quote and couldn’t find it. I suspect this happens more often than we think.

I will actually agree that forming cis into cissy would be an insult. I would not use it on someone I wanted to respect, but a snowflake having a pissbaby fit over cis would be the proper use of cissy.

Interestingly having known some sissy boys and what they will go through I think it would be an error to imply they are some sort of pissbaby republican type. I would want to use the term on a written forum where you could see the difference because clearly people who freak the fuck out of being called a person born with the genitals of the gender they identify with is overwhelmingly wussy.
