Now thankfully Governor Polis, a Democrat I would vote for, said that the flag is not racist and the school board backed down (after much push back), but what would happen if this didn't go viral? Ignorant school boards would be slowly erasing history. This is what the 1619 project wants though, to teach that the origin of this country is rooted in slavery and racism.
