Oh, I'm sure you think his anti-vax stand is just peachy, but do you really want a guy who thinks wifi is dangerous to have access to the nuclear codes? Do you want someone like that setting government policy about science? You can bet your ass he'll fuck up NASA six ways from Sunday because of all of his anti-science shit. And guys like Musk need the NASA money to keep flying their rockets. (If SpaceX was actually raking in insane piles of cash, don't you think that Musk would take the company public so he could get even more money?)

It also doesn't matter what his stance on NASA is now, either. He's as looney as Trump, and people like that can be readily convinced to do anything if the right person persuades them. Which is what makes them so dangerous. Folks like Biden and W do have some basic principles that they adhere to. They might not always be the right one, and they might not always hold onto them as tight as they should, but they do have them. Guys like RFK, Jr. and Trump don't. They'll do anything that they think benefits them in the moment, doesn't matter the long-term cost, or even if they're easily proven wrong. That's what makes them so dangerous.
