I hate to agree with shitbag, but that is what you will have to do in a capitalist society because life goes on. The corporation is going to try and break you and one of the ways is holding out and running the worker's savings and credit out. If they are going to survive that they will need another job to outlast the employer. If they cannot do that, then they will lose.

Striking is not an easy thing, and that is why we try to support the striking workers. We need to understand that they are suffering far more difficulties by striking than we are by not having TV shows to watch, or by not getting our goods when we want. If you think you are going to go out and hold up some signs for a day or two and get your way, you have probably already tried that and it got jack and shit from the corporate goons so get another job while the strike goes on.

Yes, you do have to buck up and fight and endure the wait. That being said we all know UA is a scab so fuck him because you also have to worry about him coming in and taking your job because UA loves to slurp shit from the rich. He lives on hot, wet, mushy, shit. So while you are out there working at another job in hopes that you will get paid decently people like UA will work for poo. Good news is UA is terrible at whatever job he does and is a lazy white worthless shit so they are going to get what they pay for. Whoever his employer is knows what it is like to be @Jenee , and to pay good money to be her. At least Jenee gets to be her for free. Imagine having to pay for it?

Of course they should get paid for their work, I’m simply stating reality. We were finally at a point where well written shows were coming back and reality shows were less of a thing. It is hard for me to feel to bad for millionaires though. Hopefully this will weed out the lazy writers who feel the need to insert politics into everything.

I know that, but with actors on strike too they’re going to have to put out something. What do you think that something is? Remember last time we ended up with Quantum of Solace because Daniel Craig was writing the script. That doesn’t happen this time and Quantum wasn’t very good.

You work for a company that makes widgets to sell in Walmart.

You make a small amount for each widget made, and the company also pays you extra money whenever Walmart actually sells one of the widgets.

One day the company comes to you "good news! We've now found a way to cut out the middleman and change to selling widgets direct to customers, we project this saving us a ton of money!"

"Oh, great, what's the bonus when they buy one?"

"Lol what? None of course, your deal was you get paid when they're sold in Walmart"

The terms of your employment technically haven't changed so you'd be fine with it right?

Hey, the boy makes sammiches at subway for minimum wage in VA which is probably 6 or 7 an hour. I think some good entertainment might make him a bit less miserable a human being. All he can afford is seeing fox news on the TVs at the best buy in the ghetto mall.

Without writers who is going to make up the shit on faux news? Someone has to tell Jessie Waters what to say. Hannity doesn't write his own shit. The last thing Rudy Guliani improved was with Borat and we all know how that turned out.

Meaningless without context. How many people who call themselves screenwriters make nothing? The median would probably be more illuminating. It’s also worth noting that $69k might be enough to keep you off the streets in Hollywoodland, it’s not a helluva lot :chris:

And who is behind this massive strike for SAG-AFTRA?

Their President, Fran Drescher, aka the Nanny. *nasal laugh*

In a single transaction? Every time it s shown? Every time it is even mentioned in another production? How many degrees of separation are we trying to pay out, here?

    :bang::bang::bang:

WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK DO YOU THINK A FUCKING STRIKE IS YOU FUCKING MORON?!?!?

    The are fucking leaving it.

This wasn’t a wildcat strike. This was a prior contract expired and to use the above analogy they want the new one to include a cut of the direct to consumer widgets comparable to their cut they got from Walmart sales.

    Widget maker is saying no.

They are saying take your contract and shove it. We’re not working under it. AS YOU JUST ADVISED THEM TO DO.

But even so since you are too stupid to realize it and a cowardly little bitch that sucks up to power hoping they will give you enough scraps to live your miserable little life a day longer and won’t beat you after they are done beating them you are of course siding the widget billionaire.

i dunno... why don't you actually read what they had, are trying to maintain, and perhaps want before opening your cock hole?
