That is how it works when Isreal always lies about these things. You get a sort of reputation for being that way. Maybe you are right, what was Trump saying again? Yeah, don't apply common sense to Isreal because that would be wrong because reasons. Good argument.
It's amazing how much the impact of the word "genocide" has been watered down, thanks to the rhetoric from the pro-Hamas camp. Not making excuses for civilian deaths, and anyone (including Israeli soldiers) who deliberately targets civilians should be held to account, but the word "genocide" has been thrown around so cavalierly lately that it's sadly become meaningless.
It’s not unintentional that those throwing it around the most also support Putin. They want the term watered down so they can ignore the actual genocide going on in Ukraine. I get it. It works for Trump and the Republicans.
Have you amnesia from when your guys were kidnapping people and sticking them in torture camps? This discussion was prominent then. The very existence of that category is a matter of legal dispute, as is the competence of a belligerent to assign prisoners to it, as demonstrated clearly here. Even those (including the US under the Bush Administration) who hold that it's a real thing do still maintain that some of the Geneva Conventions are applicable, including prohibitions on inhumane treatment and outrages upon personal dignity.
We've gone back from anti-Semitism to pro-Putin, have we? These things are just abuse used in place of argument. Any thoughts on why so many prominent subject matter experts are calling it genocide? Or response to my earlier post on the numbers?
It's what people like him do because that's what their puppet masters have told them to repeat over and over. They can't think for themselves.
Interesting way of saying that the UN is trying to water down language so the US won't veto the Security Council resolution again.
What terrorist interns like you and @Amaris fail to understand is that the second Hamas started using hospitals as bases was the instant they started to have a shelf life Hamas wanted this, they'd rather make Israel look bad than have their own citizens provided with health care. That is the real fucked up thing at play here
And the doctors in those hospitals are afraid for their lives and their patients’ lives if they protest Hamas being there.

The Palestinians must really regret and disagree with this most recent war Hamas started, huh? https://www.reuters.com/world/middl...attack-israel-support-hamas-rises-2023-12-14/ Oh.

Hey isn't Saudi Arabia kind of a big country controlled by billionaires? Couldn't they create a utopian paradise where the Palestinians can live in peace forever? I wonder why they don't do that?
Hey, aren't the leaders of Hamas also billionaires who could easily turn the Gaza strip into a luxurious place like Dubai?
I don't for a second believe that Hamas are above violating the sanctity of healthcare facilities for their own ends. However, there has been no credible physical evidence presented for the Israeli claims that they are using them as command and control centres. For Shifa Hospital, we were told literally that the HQ was underneath, complete with Nintendo 64 graphics mocked up to demonstrate. As things progressed, that claim was quietly dropped, it became just a command and control "node", and we were shown as evidence a handful of rifles hidden behind an MRI scanner and a calendar with the days of the week in Arabic. Then they showed video of a basement built in 1982 which everyone knew was already there. It's preposterous. Since, they moved onto the other healthcare sites, and have now put almost all of them out of service. These places are not legitimate targets even if they are being misused. And clearly their necessity to a survival of the civilian population under bombardment underscores how this is related to the crime of genocide. Doctors are now routinely performing amputations without anaesthesic and people are dying from exposed wounds easily treatable in other circumstances.
