Poor predictable Ricky with his convenient lack of context.

    1. Did the IDF say why they bombed that area?

    2. Has anything, possibly some sort of explosive metallic projectile, come out of the area where those camps are located recently?
Yes, at you, because you're so fucking bad at this.

Hey, did you check out this thread yet?

You'd better rush in and cry about what a bunch of monsters the Americans in that video are, assaulting and restraining a poor unarmed black man. :dayton:

There is literally nothing that the IDF could say that would offer a reasonable justification for dropping bombs on cold and starving children sleeping in the tents that they have been forced to flee from their homes to.

I am not going to be repeating their mendacious propaganda in order to meet your bogus requirement for "context". There is enough of that around.

ISIS attacks Iran, Iran's Ayatollah promises Israel will pay, and that everyone knows Iran's power. And of course it was right and just that the al Aqsa flood killed 1200 Israelis and that attacks like this will continue until Israel is destroyed.

Up is down, night is day, and wrong is definitely right for these morons.

Guards general Qassem Soleimani in the southern city of Kerman. (Iranian Presidency / AFP)
The October 7 Hamas massacres in southern Israel will bring about the downfall of Israel, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said Friday, speaking in Kerman at a funeral for the 89 people killed in twin blasts claimed by the Islamic State group.

The suicide bombings struck crowds in the southern city, where many had gathered on Wednesday to commemorate slain Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps general Qassem Soleimani, on the fourth anniversary of his death in a US drone strike.

The attack killed 89 people, state TV said, raising an earlier toll following the deaths of several of the wounded.

Speaking at the funeral, Raisi hailed Hamas for its deadly October 7 onslaught, in which thousands of terrorists attacked more than 20 communities across southern Israel, killing some 1,200 people and seizing around 240 hostages.

“We know that ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ operation will bring about the end of the Zionist regime,” he said, using Hamas’s name for the attack.

And part of their history is the Palestinians trying to stop them from fleeing the Holocaust and therefore tens of thousands of them dying in Nazi Germany, then when the UN finally gave them the OK to have their own nation where they could defend themselves after 2000 years of oppression and the most intense genocide in world history those same Palestinians promising to annihilate them in a war that would be remembered among the greatest massacres of all time.

And then actively trying to do that over and over and over again.

How about this? When you get rockets fired at you by terrorists, then you can decide which locations terrorists are allowed to attack you from without worrying that you might try to defend yourself.

Meanwhile in the real world, wars don't come with special immunity zones from which you can fire rockets at your enemies without repercussions.

Of course Hamas should not violate the Geneva Conventions and where they do, appropriate consequences should apply.

But yours is a cowardly non-answer. The Geneva Conventions do not require reciprocity. They are binding on all parties in all circumstances.

You are demonstrating here that where Israel violates them, your immediate recourse will be to make excuses based on "the real world " and "context". Since in this specific situation none has been provided by the IDF or anyone else, you'll even invent that where necessary and just assume that they have justification.
So, certainly appears that you don't believe they're bound by any of them. Which is great, because they appear to be determined to violate as many as possible. This was only one of multiple atrocities they carried out in the last day or so.

But you need sources, you demand! We can't believe this stuff when it comes from Al Jazeera!
Unfortunately someone keeps killing the journalists reporting on all of this. In their homes (of which a registry exists) with their entire families.
And western journalists are embedded with the IDF, subjecting themselves to the IDF censor. So it's all a bit of a puzzle how such an impartial and objective observer as yourself is meant to be convinced.

Did you get hit on the head, or something? You're being quite unhinged about all this. I'm not a Nazi, and I resent the implication. I challenge you to find anything of that nature in my past posting history. The lies you spew now, are vile and have no basis in reality. Take several seats, useful idiot.

Relying on numbers from Hamas as to casualties in this conflict, is ludicrous. Find a source that doesn't have a vested interest in lying. That goes for both Israel and the palestinians.

It's a peer-reviewed medical journal. They say that the mortality figures provided by the Gaza Ministry of Health are broadly accurate.

You mean the Lancet that published Andrew Wakefield's research that MMR vaccines led to autism, probably the single largest scandal in medial research in the last 50 years. One that led to dozens of retractions? And the fraud wasn't found for 12 years, thus giving legitimacy for over a decade to the anti-vax movement that has morphed into the global health crisis that we have today. That the Lancet you are talking about?

The Lancet that had to retract it's Covid-19 hydoxychloroquine results?

The Lancet that published a paper that a Norwegian oncologist later admitted was based on data that he made up entirely in 2006?

The one that published unverifiable claims that the sanctions prior to the Iraq War killed many times more than the conflict itself, even with the objections of the Iraqi Health Ministry?

The Lancet that claimed that Covid came, not from animal transmission or even accidently released by a Chinese lab, but from a US based lab?

The one that just this year continued published two papers on the supposed first tracheal transplant that once again were found to be falsified? And in this case led to the expansion of procedures that directly led to the death of multiple patients.

That the Lancet you are talking about?

    Oh look, Wikipedia! :dayton:

They are the most prominent medical journal in the world, with an enormous output. The existence of a handful of controversies is to be expected.

On this matter they are in agreement with UNICEF, WHO, MSF, other human rights groups and even the goddamn the US state department (Joe Biden notwithstanding). Lists of names have been published with Israeli-issued ID numbers. The only people disputing the death count are ignorant or dishonest.

Just an FYI you keep saying that Iran would dominate the ME but that is not accurate. They are Shia. The vast majority are Sunni. The Sunnis wouldn’t allow it. They’d go back to Shia v Sunni conflict.

See Iran-Iraq War for a recent example and then well… the last 1400 years before that (the split started almost immediately after the death of Muhammad and fully crystallized with the murder of his grandson (son of Ali and Fatima) Hussein in Karbala* (why Karbala is second holiest site in Shia Islam).

*If you ever want to know if someone is Sunni or Shia watch how they pray. Sunnis start standing with their arms crossed Shia by their sides. Shia will also have a clay tablet (made from mud from Karbala) that they put in the mat to touch their head to.

What ‘brutalism’ led up to their response to events 75 years ago (your choice of a date)?

If Trump were president during all of this, the news would have been all over the genocide long ago, talking about how Donald Trump has gotten us into so many wars and how he was letting Israel murder thousands of innocent children. If Donald Trump wins this next election, the only upside in that shit pile of an administration would be that the news media would finally stop pretending they're unsure what's going on in Israel and Palestine, just like COVID would suddenly come back as a major issue. Partisanship will make excuses for a lot of atrocities as long as it's the other party. Hell, even people here on Wordforge might actually acknowledge what's going on as a grave concern, but it's got to happen under a Republican administration, or else it's justified and you don't know the extenuating circumstances that lead to it.

The same applies to the UN. I don't have much hope about their doing anything to end this because the US has a controlling voice, and can veto just about any actual action taken to protect Palestinians. The people of Palestine, and other nations the United States has helped destroy, are at the mercy of an organization whose biggest member starts wars everywhere around the globe and then looks them right in the eye and says they're only defending democracy.

Oh, and any Iran v rest of ME war would be very VERY bad. Iran is close to having nukes and Saudi Arabia didn’t fund 60% of Pakistan’s nuke program out of the goodness of their heart.

Western intelligence estimates it would take 5-6 days to get the Saudis their warheads.

I do have to totally agree. Just giving palestine their own state without any strings seems to be a way of forming another terrorist tribal Islamic gang state in the region. Even if Isreal was not there, the tribal factions of the Islamic cultists are frittering away resources on twerrorist territorial battles between themselves.

If a state has to be formed then it should be protected and advanced for the peaceful people who want to exist, while also protecting it from becoming another resource wasting faction of IS terrorism. I want them to have food, water, power, education and infrastructure. I do notr want the money sent to make their lives better on more bullets and terrorist fighting.

I do not know how such a thing would be done, or even if it could be done, so I sort of support a refugee solution for those who want to immigrate to a foreign country and live by their rules and make better lives for themselves. Leave Isreal to their own devices and see how long people want to go live in their terrorist state.

The problem I have with interference is the US and world reputation in the region has been so tainted with the populace that to have an enforced peace you have to lock down and remove the terrorists through police action. The people in general, and no people would, want foreign authorities acting upon the local populace gangs to remove the violent members.

The peoples of these lands have to come to the conclusion that their infighting between their people are what is causing their own instabilities. If anyone comes in with authority to prosecute those who murder, bomb, and steal to bring peace to the neighborhoods, they will be foreigners jailing locals. Some people get it and want that peace, but lots of people are going to resent it because they are going to want to police themselves.

Isreal, as our ally, is a part of that problem because they are tarnishing any positive reputation in the area because we do not lock them down and regulate their offensive actions while protecting their population. If we did what we should do of having control over the defense of Isreal so they cannot harm others with what we give them, Isreal would kick us the fuck out. They would resent us saying no using our weapons to attack others unless you can prove there is an immediate threat. I get that point of view that Isreal cannot control it's fate with the US controlling it. Until Isreal needs protection, they will never concede to what needs to be done, because large parts of their people are warhungry.

OK, let them have it. Hands the fuck off of Isreal and Palestine. In a greater sense if Isreal wins without US support and wipes Palestine out, then Isreal suffers the problems with their neighbors. There is where Isreal would be forced to make some real peace arrangements that could be backed up with foreign assistance. If they do not want to make those, then war it is. When they want to survive then we can step in and say you are done fucking around.

Actually, I will go out and say it. From the point of possibly being able to regulate what Isreal does from a neutral standpoint, yeah the US has to let Isreal defend itself, and yes that means the locals are going to attack them to eliminate them. Yes, those locals are under the primary control of governments who would want to eliminate Isrealis from the planet in a genocidal push.

It is not that I want the genocide of Isrealis as I would hope they would eventually ask for help to protect them when they are endangered. Isrealis have taken the mandate given to them by the US in their existence to mean they get to genocide others and act outside of any rules. To impose rules now would mean the Isrealis would say fuck off to the US, and they are saying that. So yeah, we fuck off. We do what they want until they need us.

Yes, that might mean the crazy ones who will die rather than ask for help will be killed in war, the sane ones will either come for help or be annihilated. It is exactly the sort of thing I would want the palestinians to set up if the US were to protect them. It would mean we come in, protect their land, and establish their infrastructure and survival while eliminating any hostile terrorist threats within. The US would come into Palestine and eliminate a Hamas presence at the request of palestinians, while also protecting them from Isreal and creating their own sustainability.

If they do not come to such a conclusion, then they are on their own. The reality is that the world has protections for Jews and Muslims in other places, so their religious states in the middle east need to find a peace of their own without foreign protections for stupid aggression. If we were to drop Isreal, and Isreal determined for themselves to fight to the death in the middle of the Islamic countries, then that is their choice. It is the same thinbg I give any other Islamic state when they fight among themselves over who's fiction book writer is the best. Maybe we could get JK to go down there with her TERF beliefs and any HP TERF fans she can muster to claim her place in the magical chosen one wars.

I think you give the US way too much credit. If we are no longer semi reliant on the middle east for what is in the ground we would let all this shit go like we do with Africa. There are some horrors that go on in Africa that make the Middle east look tame. There are some abuses deeper in asia that we do not give a fuck about. We do not even bother with NK and they are actually lobbing ballistic missiles over some of our allies, and collapsing mountains with nuke tests.

There is a reason Isreal is where it is, and that is the same reason why we care. It is oil, and perhaps other mining. Once the oil driews up or we have some switch to another power source no one is going to care what these idiots do to each other over there.

One of the reasons I want off the oil is we can fucking let go of the middle east and Isreal and just let them fight among themselves like african republics. We will see how much Isreal gets when oil is not valuable anymore.

This whole idea the US cares about dead babies and Isreal is fucked. It is all about the money, and that money comes from oil. There are always genocides and ethnic cleansing going on. The only reason Isreal has a seat at the table is because they are in the oil lands, and maybe there are some other ground resources in the middle east.

@14thDoctor would shit puppies at how fast the US would drop Isreal if the oil dried up tomorrow. He would not be alone either. So would every IS terrorist organization out there. If the oil dried up tomorrow no one would care. Even Russia and China wouldn't care anymore, and they share borders with these people. The only thing valuable there would be sweat shops, and dubai.

Yeah, who have you terrorized outside of trekbbs?

I will not deny the presence of anti-jewish idiocy in the US, and probably europe and other places. It is a stupid prejudice I am totally against. I did not even realize how much I like jewish influence until I traveled to areas in the US that do not have jews. I am right there with jewish people for having to deal with anti-jewish hate. A lot of it is just edgelord bullshit from teenagers. That is not to dismiss it because you should not have to put up with it, but it really is a half assed load of crap that parents need to crack down on, and I think exposure helps with which is why I am more for inclusion of religious themes from everyone in schools over exclusion. When you bring everyone into their place at the party and respect outsiders you enhance your presence in the community in general. This is why I love my jewish friends and want to hear more about their community, even though some of their celebrations might be for them alone.

That is also why I appreciate Isreal as a jewish spiritual state for people to visit. That does not come with the abuses of palestinian people for the sake of abusing palestinian people. I used to swat my grandmother all the damned time when she would "those people" about the jews, and yeah I could not take her out with my friends and had to be careful people wouldn't hear her. There is a huge part of prejudice that died with her for her bullshit about jews. I did not bring my friends around her because she is toxic. I do not have to do that with her son, my father. My dad has tons of fun with the jewish community. So do I. Leave the racist dicks alone at home where they belong, but that also goes for the jews who are all anti-Islam at this point because we have Islamic members of the community that we want to feel welcome and a part of things. No, we are not letting you push them out with your prejudice and hate.

Your TERF Islamic hating ass would find yourself very much on the outs, because you have to bitch. You are toxic. You do not get an invite to the party and then start kicking others out based upon your hatred and biases. That is unless your hatred is bigots and prejudiced people, and then I love myself some feasting on the haters. You just taste good to me.

I am actually fine with that as long as Isreal presents real evidence and it is enforced properly by a non-Isreali force concerned with the safety of palestinians.

Recognizing people will be violent under certain conditions is not condoning violence.
