Seeing more of Destupid I think his wife is the driving force behind his ambitions. I think he was content to wait but there was a slim opening and he went in to try because people behind him were pushing. A real ego driven person would have fought harder against trump to make it. He is more corrupt and this sort of worked for him.

From his perspective he gained a lot of money, while putting most of the bills on florida. He got his name out there on a national level. He will suffer no real losses in the primaries. The polls wash away, but he did not lose big time to anyone but Trump. Now he has four years to work on his Human act and try to rehab his losing image in florida. He won't be doing the governor thing again, ao there is no losing election for what he did to florida.

Looking at what he did kmaybe this was good for him because people like you have no memory. In four years when Trump is either in office for his last time, or in jail, you need a new standard bearer. You will vote for Captain Ron just like you do for Cheeto Musolini. Oh wait, I remember now you didn't vote for Trump, you were cleaning the house in the nude, fell, and accidentally got his vote stuck up your ass. We all know your story.

WTF are you talking about? Trump is still not that powerful. First off, despite his claims, trump is mortal and he is showing some real signs of his ganglion rotting. That is not to mention the number of physical problems that can strike any person his age. Set himself up all he wants, his body will collapse. Also, whaty is the super 69th dimensional chess he is going to use to become the next king of the US? Even if he wins he would have to somehow get 2.3rds of both houses of congress to start removing amendments that will keep him from running for a third term. Even if he gets in there still seems to be democrat control of the senate and there is probably going to be dem control of the house. That means four years of nothing, and SCOTUS isn't exactly giving him king powers either. For SCOTUS to actually join with him would mean they undercut their own power and make him king, and that just does not seem likely with the egomaniacal right wing judges.

The problems that arise would be financial and in the area of medical care for certain groups. Maybe there would be a war. Let us get real, the US will go downhill in another Trump term because he does stupid shit. However, it is not the end of our government. The closest they came was to delay an announcement of who won the votes. By the time 2028 comes around we will have 8 more years of liberal children flooding the voting ranks and CHUDs dying off. This is their last meow. It is not a roar.

For no reason at all, and not because he's a traitor who got people killed.
    Nope.

He hasn't been convicted of insurrection and Garland must think it's a weak case because he won't charge Trump with insurrection either.

Fucking Christ. For the third fucking time this week JACK SMITH.

AG Garland has removed himself from any decision making with regards to Trump and appointed Jack Smith as Special Counsel.

Fuck! This was like two fucking years ago.

How has it not sunk in?

    Hypocrisy?

That you think it’s ok for trump to intercede in the US Democratic process, but that he and his supporters should not be subject to the laws of the country absolutely is hypocrisy.

Good for you for recognizing it in yourself.

So you think the charges should be specifically tailored to his boss's political opponent to be able to best prevent him from running for President?

No I think it's hypocritical for the party that claims to be the defenders of democracy to be shutting down democracy. How do you not see this?

So should all the constitutional requirements to be eligible to be president (age, length of stay in the US, natural born citizen, etc) be ignored or only the ones that disqualify your guy?

So you should be the arbiter of who is or is not eligible for the ballot?

Or should there be some kind of legal and/or procedural process to determine these kinds of questions?

But just so we are all on the same page, you do agree that the constitution should be followed in regards to presidential eligibility, yes?
