I will just point out that the paint scheme for every Air Force One has been based on the design Raymond Loewy came up with in the 1960s until Trump's idea.

Loewy was a bad-ass of industrial design. If you want to tweak one of his ideas, you'd better know what you're doing, otherwise, you will fuck it up.

Last week I rewatched the PBS series Chasing the Moon and had forgotten that before Loewy, AF1 had a different livery. His was a definite improvement.

FDR's was bare aluminum, with the name "Sacred Cow."

Truman's had a respectable paint scheme, and was called "Independence." It has a 4th of July decoration kind of flair to it.

Ike's plane was back to bare metal. And called "Columbine II," not a name that would work today.

The House Jan. 6 committee has provided all sorts of evidence that Trump knew his election fraud claims were lies. That could open the door to more civil lawsuits.

There's a new poll out regarding the 1/6 hearings. Results are interesting.

The poll revealed that 34% of Americans are following the hearings — but only 9% say they are closely glued to what's going on. Meanwhile, more than half of people are convinced the committee is doing an impartial job conducting the hearings. Finally, it's worth noting that about the same amount of people — 58% to be exact — are of the opinion that Trump deserves to be criminally charged for his involvement in sparking the uprising.

On the other hand...

Alternatively Trump could just run anyway, be in complete contempt of court, and run rallies where he riles up thousands to engage in violent protest if he is prosecuted, saying it's all politically motivated.
