Well? Has it become true? Is it a documentary about evolution? Creationism? Karma?
    What the fuck?

Movie history. It was a ground breaking sci-fi flick.

    Who knows?

Maybe they got tired of rerunning "Modern Marvels."

Perhaps it's time they fold all these redundant cable channels together. AMC/TCM&E. DiscoveryHistoryLearning Channel. (DHLC).

Because the History Channel is shit. Same thing happened to the Discovery Channel a few years ago when they found out they could run "American Chopper" and not have to pay out the ass for shark footage or earthquake research.

That's why I only watch History International. It's like what the History Channel used to be.

We'll add that to the list right behind live action shows on the Cartoon Network, MTV/VH1 not playing music, wrestling on the SciFi channel, the Daily Show on Comedy Central and Deal or No Deal on MSNBC.

Well, wrestling is faked anyway so that at least makes it fiction.

Well guys, be thankful you all even have those channels to watch. I had those channels (for free) till someone completely knocked out the service. Now all I have are local news and a few stations, and have to go out and buy that damn box.

    Can you say $$$$$$$$$ :(

I dunno. I also dunno what's up with the SciFi channel. They're on a classic horror jag or something. Earlier this week they did "The Shining". And "Jaws" is on right now.

I'm not complaining, though. Except I should be doing some studying instead of watching one of the great Man Films of all time.

I can understand the scifi channel's problem - there just isn't enough SF to fill a channel... but I'd say there are more than enough history docs. Must be about money.

Hallmark Channel showed some truly awful sci-fi movies on Saturday, like "Supernova" and "Pandemic". I thought that was the sappy tear-jerker movie network?

All is well on Encore Westerns where they're showing 100 hours of John Wayne westerns. :mm:

One minute I'm watching a documentary and then I come back with a glass of water and a sandwich and some "damn dirty apes" are on screen.

I thought a poltergeist had switched the channel.

I think the planet of the apes was on for the same reason that WWE comes on the arts and entertainment channel. They don't give a shit. They know people have already payed for the shit and they have their money. It should be a law that all cable and satellite companies offer all channels ala-cart with no packages, then you would see 75% of the channels disappear in a hurry and the 25% left would be concerned about their content and would listen to their customers.

The first 3 seasons of MASH were the best. Outstanding slapstick comedy.

Started getting sappy when the cast started changing. Was still a good show though.
