Rumoured casting of Wonder Woman for Justice League movie

Yeah, I know, it's AICN... but she's hot and I want rep so I'm posting the pic anyway.

She's Megan Gale, an Aussie model. Certainly has the look, no idea about the acting talent (but it's a superhero flick and it's DC, so character development isn't really a biggie unless your name is Bruce Wayne).

 

She's hot, but she doesn't make me think Wonder Woman.

 

Is this in addition to a movie version of Wonder Woman, or is this some sort of replacement?

 

I somewhat agree - WW should be a classical Greek babe, a bit like Melina Havelock in For Your Eyes Only but with curlier hair and a fuller figure.

But on the other hand I would very much like to see Ms. Gale in the WW costume, even if she doesn't get the role.

 

Since the rumour is they're not going with Bale as Batman or Routh as Supes, odds are the JLA movie won't interfere with any potential WW movie, but I'm not aware if such a project is greenlit at the moment.

 

Well last I heard Joss Whedon has been commissioned to make the Wonder Woman feature. But, we are waiting on a script and such, but he is still thinking about writing it.

 

Anyone else have a spotlight appear on their computer and hear Dreamweaver start playing?

 

To me, it will be extremely difficult to replace my vision of Wonder Woman.

 

I would like to do some dirty, dirty things with/to that woman...and her wearing the Wonder Woman costume would only make it that much more fun.

 

Dude, this is like the hottest girl I've ever seen, ever... and I hadn't even heard of her until this thread.

 

If they were younger, either Jennifer Connolly or Catherine Zeta-Jones would've been perfect as Wonder Woman.

I hadn't heard that. That's a bummer. Although on the flip side, maybe not so much. Especially considering the type of scrutiny a production like that will be under from fans.

Not that they'd get a really fit woman to play the role. It's all about the boobs.

 

Wonder Woman doesn't really need to be muscular.

It's more her mystical powers that give her the skillz.

Not extensive weight lifting.

I still would prefer Alexa Davalos as WW. Mostly because she's Greek but also because she played a sort of superhero on Angel.

 

Well if you want to get technical, Superman would likely look more like George Reeves than Christopher Reeve. I mean, the yellow sun makes him naturally strong. So it isn't like he's got to be this amazing physical specimen. In fact it would be hard for him to BE an amazing physical specimen because he just couldn't find a gym with enough weight to work out at. And push-ups and pull-ups would be pointless.

So he'd probably be a fairly big guy, but he'd probably be pretty flabby looking and have a big gut.

 

My money's on bukkake.
