OK. I'll admit I have, on occasion I have had an interest in costumes. I'm pretty well loaded out on Stargate:SG1 gear (which is sadly (but maybe for the better) all in storage in Oregon). And I've got a lot of the fixings for a decent Lone Ranger outfit. Once upon a time I made a good start on a Batman costume. And I did a pretty decent (apart from my lack of a sewing machine) Star Trek TOS costume one Halloween. Thing is, there are some tricks to doing cosplay and doing it right. Below is what TO do for cosplay: These aren't DC Comics shills. These are a couple people who get their jollies dressing up for conventions. And they've done a real good job.
And here's what NOT to do. I can't help but wonder if these guys came here as a group, gravitated to each other, or WTF (think Hawkgirl may be T'Bonz)...
Well, heavier bodies do tend to be drawn to each other. And yes, Hawkgirl is T'Bonz. Stephen Baldwin is Green Lantern.
I wouldn't mind getting to know wonder woman from the very first pic a little better. As for the rest...
Oh, I don't disagree with that. But the second Wonder Woman really doesn't have the Wonder Woman vibe going for her. She'd be much better off dressed as River Tam. (Of course then she'd need the rest of the Firefly gang too so people didn't just think she was some random waif-ish girl.)
